Vehicle health check, so you know where you stand
A thorough look over the car, including tyre pressures, oil and more, with a clear note of anything that needs attention. Peace of mind for you and the car.

What we look at
- Tyres. Pressures, tread depth and any damage or uneven wear.
- Fluids. Oil and other levels checked.
- Lights. Bulbs and indicators working.
- Anything else we notice. If something looks like a cause for concern, we tell you plainly and let you decide.
You get an honest report, with no pressure to book further work.
Worth doing before
A long trip, the winter months, or buying a used car. Our guide to 8 things to check before buying a used car goes through the rest.
How a check works
Tell us what worries you
A noise, a warning light, a long trip coming up, or just peace of mind. We start from there.
We look the car over
The fitter works through the tyres, fluids and lights where the car is parked.
You get a plain report
We explain what we found and what, if anything, needs doing, in order of importance.
Vehicle health check questions
Is a vehicle health check the same as an MOT?
No. It is not an MOT and does not replace one. It is an extra look at the tyres, fluids and lights, with a plain report of what we found.
Can you do it at my home or work?
Yes. The fitter comes to your home, workplace or the roadside, anytime and anywhere.
What happens if you find a problem?
We tell you plainly and let you decide. For the work we do, such as tyres, batteries or brake pads and discs, we can quote it. You are free to take the report to your own garage.
When is a good time to have one?
Before a long trip, at the start of winter, or when you are buying a used car. In between, check your tyre pressures regularly.
